Insufficient communication: An analysis of " The Sound of Silence” " Noises of Quiet is an album simply by Simon and Garfunkel, released on January 17, 1966” [ (wikipedia) ]. This is an attractive song composed with great choices of terms. Behind could be song with melodious beat, there is a big message in the lyrics. With this poem, Sue presents the speaker whom speaks regarding communication. The thought of lack of interaction builds up throughout this composition. This poem conveys a note that there is an absence of real communication in the persons. The poet person multiple uses of words and phrases in this composition have a tremendous meaning and strongly support the thesis above. The multiple uses of " I” mean that he wishes the reader to be the particular person he's referring to inside the poem. " I've arrive to talk with you again. ” and " Left their seeds when i was sleeping” in the beginning of the poem corelates silence while using speaker (lines 2-4). The darkness meaning silence through this poem can be speaker's old friend. He knows the silence well. Similarly, the multiple use of ‘and' delivers reasoning and supports for the writer's argument. For instance , in the lines " And the vision that was selected and planted in my brain…………. the sound of silence”, the speaker argues that the environment he has established is still inside his human brain and thus is definitely not uncovered yet (5-7). The audio also uses the word ‘people' many times. " People” with this poem refers to all the the public without being worried to any persons (17-19). With this context, people refer to those mass whom are communicating with each other with no emotional feelings. The composition describes householder's way of communicating in several lines. Through the lines below, Bob wants the speaker to know how people are sharing details with no worth.
